Tasting Notes:

Selected grapes from various low yielding vineyards in the Wairau, Brancott, Waihoepai and Awatere valleys produce this wine that possesses a pale straw colour with touches of green and classic Sauvignon Blanc characters of gooseberry, passion fruit, figs and a touch of herbaceousness on the nose.  These aromas follow on to the palate and the wine is mouth filling with good texture and finishes well with crisp acidity and great length. A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from a good vintage. A wine to drink now and, with careful cellaring, will last up to five years. 

Food Pairings:

Drink this wine as an aperitif or with asparagus, oysters and summer salads.
