Tasting Notes:

Brent Marris and Ben Glover (who leads a dedicated team of Pinot specialists at Wither Hills) have done it again, with this silky smooth, rich 2005 that is nothing short of decadent. Ripe, juicy red berry fruit is a given with Wither Hills but what really helps this wine stand out from the crowd is the careful use of oak. Just enough to spice things up and add some hedonistic chocolaty notes but without diminishing any of the fruit. Top job.

Put simply, Wither Hills are among the very best producers in New Zealand.
