We are able to hold these events at our shop in Beaumont or in our brand new shop in town. As I am sure you are aware, we have ample parking and a large shop floor area in which to host big groups for a standing tasting. We also have a tasting area with a table that can comfortably seat 12 people.  It may also be possible at the end of the tasting to arrange for your group to move on to a second venue. We normally accept bookings for tastings at our shop from 6pm on Tuesday to Friday evenings only and please note that we have to request that the tasting finishes by 9pm when located at our shop premises.

1. We can offer a tasting of up to 32 different wines (at Beaumont or 16 in town) from all over the world on our tasting machines  or any number of wines without the machines. The wines can be a mixture from all over the world or they can be from a specific wine region. We would discuss the wines that you would prefer and the budget available and we would then put together several different selections for you to choose from. We are also able to arrange canapés or cheese and wine matching evenings for example.

2. If you would like to add a little competitive interest to the evening, we can arrange a blind tasting quiz for your guests. The guests attending the event try to guess the country of origin, the grape variety used to make the wine and the price bracket. We provide a multi - choice questionnaire that makes this a little easier and more fun. The wine bottles are not visible so cheating is not possible. The prize to the winner is normally a few bottles of the wine of their choice from the selection present.

3. We have at previous events discovered that a good way to welcome your guests to the tasting is to offer them a glass of Champagne or Sparkling Wine on arrival, as this seems to break the ice and create an enjoyable atmosphere.

4. Often the companies who have held these events previously have served a buffet of foods that complement the wines being tasted. We can help you arrange this by recommending a caterer if required.

5. We provide the wine glasses necessary and full tasting notes of all the wines being tasted.

6. We try to keep the event as informal and enjoyable as possible, but are obviously happy to answer any questions and discuss wine with any interested parties.

7. We would charge you the normal full selling price for any wines that are used at the tasting or given out as prizes, and also a standard Wine Tasting Event Charge of £150 plus an additional fee of £3.00 per person attending.  

8. We will offer the wines that are tasted at the event at a discounted price for any orders taken from the tasting & we can set your company up with a Corporate discount card which offers your employees a 10% discount off  all wines (except those already on  promotion) that are available from our shop.

Please note, we do not accept any bookings for events after the middle of November until the end of December.
