Notes:
At Glen Carlou, a combination of time-honoured winemaking methods with state of the art equipment, results in wines reflecting the intense fruit flavours distinctive to the region, whilst retaining a unique and individual style. Established in 1985, Glen Carlou has become one of South Africa’s leading wine producers. Today it goes from strength to strength under the vibrant management and ownership of Hess Family Estates. This limited-release wine derives its name from a single, mature vineyard planted in soils containing a generous percentage of quartz stone shards. Barrel aged in 100% New French oak for 11 months.
Tasting: A buttery-rich wine with an abundance of ripe peach and citrus flavours, complemented by a touch of toasted hazelnut. This wine is a fabulous alternative to a Burgundy wine and drinks well above its price. We absolutely adore this wine and we're sure you will too.
