Alick joined Dunell's in 2007 and looks after all our stock purchasing and importation. Alick is a huge fan of big style reds and the wines he has chosen here are no exception. A fabulous mixed of grape varieties and wines from all over the world perfect for red meats and big hearty dishes!

NB. We have temporarily replaced the Peter Lehmann Clancy's with equally gorgeous Ciconia 2010 from Portugal.

Bodegas Lan Rioja Crianza 2006 With a very bright ruby colour and a bouquet that shows elegant oak ageing, with fine vanilla touches, this wine has wonderful clean flavours and a persistent finish leaving pleasant memories of a top quality Rioja. £8.45	Gran Sasso Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2009/10 Smooth, dark, rich and creamy, this smells and tastes like it costs more than it does: juicy brambly fruit, grippy tannins and a lovely fresh smell. £7.75

Excellent ripe fruit nose with spicy saucisson flavours. Deep colour. Velvety and elegant. Chewy with great vanilla oak touches. This a big style red and is incredible value for money. £6.95
Lyeth Merlot 'L de Lyeth' 2008 This wine is well-balanced with flavours of plum, wild berry, currant and hints of mint and spices. £10.45	Trentham Estate Pinot Noir 2009 This Pinot Noir has aromas of sweet red berries, mocha and subtle vanilla follow to the palate. A soft wine which has good length with a nice spicy finish. £8.95
