Notes:
Following fermentation, the wine is aged for just over a year in a mixture of large oak and small, French oak barrels prior to bottling. Bright ruby in colour, it has perfumes of bitter cherries and a slight smokiness from the oak. On the palate, it is full and rich, with a spicy cherry character balanced by smooth, rounded tannins. Supple and long.
