Franco Allegrini stands head and shoulders above all other growers in Valpolicella, an ultra modernist who believes in freshness and purity of flavour, his wines are quite unlike any others from the area. Intense ruby red. Warm and spicy bouquet, with aromas of raisins. This is due to the fact that the grapes are allowed to partially dry prior to fermenting. Well-structured, complex, elegant and velvety. Amarone has a distinctive flavour because of its unique production method. An extremely important wine in Italian viticulture, Amarone is an exclusive and unique symbol of the Valpolicella region. Over the course of time, Allegrini has improved its production method with the goal being to best preserve the characteristics of the fruit whilst drying.
Enjoy 2011 - 2017. A blend of 80% Corvina, 15% Rondinella and 5% Oseleta.
