Really delicious drinking and versatile with food. This is an early bottling of the latest Kies. Kurt is hugely enthusiastic about 2009 and believes that this is the best Kies he has ever made. Citrus and stone fruits, with ripe red apple and melon on the nose, pear drops too. It's dry, crisp and zesty with lovely fresh tangy fruits, good acidity and just a hint of peppery typical Gruner character. Really refreshing and a great aperitif style or drink with fish and salads.
