Notes:
The generic Moreau Chablis – as usual for this cuvee – is 60% from the vineyards of a single grower behind Vaulorent, with the rest coming from Pargues. In short, if one believes in location, you can’t get much better in AOC Chablis. Furthermore, unusually, the fruit is all hand-harvested. Lime, apricot, mint, and lily-of-the-valley aromas lead into a satisfyingly juicy, zesty, peppery palate and a bright, pointed, chalk-tinged finish. Excellent stuff!
