Notes:
This fine Zinfandel offers aromas of rich, black fruits imbued with exotic spice from new oak, followed by a firm, well structured palate of berries, with superb concentration, firm acidity and fairly intense tannins. Allow this wine to develop over the next ten to fifteen years.
ROBERT PARKER 91-93 points 'The 2008 Lytton Springs Proprietary Red, a blend of 74% Zinfandel, 21% Petite Sirah, and 5% Carignan, possesses a deep ruby/purple colour and good acidity, and a more closed style than the Geyserville, with a firmer, more restrained overall personality.'
