"I have long wondered what the function of the pig's coiled tail is, and sought to provide an answer by interpreting the shape into an elegant, functional design." Georg Riedel's answer comes in the form of the Riedel Curly Decanter.
The curl acts as a tool to open the wine up, allowing it to breathe. The decanter creates a series of air pockets which charge the wine with oxygen as it is poured so that it can be enjoyed at its best. The stunning yet challenging shape of this Riedel decanter means that it can only be crafted by the most skilled and senior glass blowers. This work of art will make a wonderful centrepiece on any dinner table.
