Description
Here, in one single parcel, are planted the oldest vines of the Domaine – 1958 and 1959 respectively and, at just 1.15 hectares, the second smallest plot. Whatever, the 2013 is a fine, fine wine with an almost smoky ripe succulently fruited nose but very clean, very pure. The palate has a latent power, lean, taut flavours, excellent concentration and power and a surprising delicacy on the finish. An enigmatic Bienvenues, rather beautiful.
Recommended drinking from 2018 - 2022.
