JUSTINO'S 5 Year Old Fine Rich Reserve Madeira NV Bottle 19%abv (Tinta Negra)

Description

Justino’s Reserve wines are made up of mix of local red grape varieties, predominantly that of Tinta Negra. They are blended from a number of different wines, all with the capacity to age well and which have been kept for a minimum of 5 years in oak casks prior to bottling. They are generically classified according to the level of sweetness in the wine and sold as four different styles: Dry, Medium Dry, Medium Sweet, and Sweet.

This is an excellent deep amber colour. Dry fruits on the nose. Elegant. Medium rich, soft, and balanced, with some complexity. A long and pleasant finish, with bittersweet chocolate notes and a hint of grapes.
It is an excellent accompaniment to dried fruit, butter cookies, dark chocolate and honey cake and best served at 16ºC.

Wine Spectator 88 points - An excellent deep amber colour. Dry fruits on the nose. Elegant. Medium rich, soft, and balanced, with some complexity. A long and pleasant finish, with bittersweet chocolate notes and a hint of grapes.
