Description

Robert Parker 86-88 points - "The Le Carillon d’Angelus 2014 is a blend of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. It has quite a "sexy" bouquet compared to the Grand Vin with plush blueberry and black cherry scents, and a smear of vanilla from the oak. It perhaps just lacks a little precision that you might have found in a top vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, slightly chalky tannin. It is quite a compact wine with a slightly brittle but balanced saline finish."
