Description

The 10 hectare, Left Bank vineyard of Chateau de Gironville is planted to 45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. The vines are on average 28 years of age.

Young vintages can be decanted for 1 hour allowing the wine to soften and open its perfume.

The wine of Chateau de Gironville is best served with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised and grilled dishes.
