Founded in 1834, the venerable Paul Jaboulet Aîné house offers a wide range from its trade and its hundred hectares (in organic conversion) spread over several northern estates, including the legendary La Chapelle en hermitage. Bought in 2006 by the Frey family, owners in Champagne and Bordeaux (La Lagune), it is managed by Caroline Frey.
The opinion of the Guide Hachette des Vins - "A family nod, this cuvée immediately seduces with its intense and complex nose of laurel, undergrowth and kirsch fruits. Equally expressive (cherry, morello cherry, liquorice), the palate appears smooth and round, without lacking freshness, supported by fine and silky tannins. A charming and elegant wine."
