Description

Second wine of the illustrious 2ème Grand Cru Classé Château Rauzan-Ségla, and made for earlier drinking. Drinking now, and over the next decade. Priced as such we'd say this is superb value; we love the elegant, refined texture, the depth, the length and breadth of flavour. The nose is ripe and fragrant, with notes of blackcurrant, damson, violet and toasted oak. The tannins are soft and silky, with a persistent finish. Really classy and will drink well into the 20s. Perfect to enjoy with rack of lamb.
