Calafuria is crafted from vineyards that stretch along the Adriatic coastline for more than a kilometer It’s name comes from the over 700 bays on the Apulian peninsula. The region has a long tradition of producing rosé wines from Negroamaro a variety that best expresses its full potential near the sea. A delicate rosé, pleasantly fresh, savory and well developed that expresses all the aromas and colors of its native Salento. The Apulian rosé of Tormaresca , the only Italian rosé among the best in the world according to the Wine Spectator, Calafuria is not only be enjoyed with taste and smell, but also with eyes, and with art. To adorn the magnums of Calafuria 2020, Roman street artist Gio Pistone has been chosen and he has succeeded with grace, imagination and originality to translate into lines and colours a dreamlike universe inspired by the rosé between mermaids, moon, stars and the whimsical world of the sea.
