Description

Nose of citrus, vanilla and marzipan, lifted by the scent of cut grass. Palate: grapefruit, lemon, caramelised pineapple, vanilla cream, touch of cooking apple. Smooth, crisp acidity well balanced with supple creamy mouthfeel on the mid-palate accompanied by a slightly sour vanilla and pineapple cream on the long mineral finish. Decanter 45 minutes and then consumed over 2.5 hours - constant improvement with air. Removed from fridge to decant and did not put back on ice at all (cool room - ambient 19-21c)

Another gorgeous white Graves from this vintage, this wine offers up notes of honeysuckle, lanolin, sweet citrus, and hints of orange peel as well as quince and white currants. It is medium to full-bodied, with fresh acidity, subtle nuances of smoky oak, and a long finish. It should drink well for 15 or more years.
