From the historical Greywacke River Stone soil, the estate's flagship wine expresses a distinctive minerality (flintiness) and elegance underlined with excellent fruit purity. It is a wine of complexity and great aging potential which will gradually reveal with age the authenticity of its origins.
Fermentated in 85% stainless steel and 15% old French oak barrels, then aged on fine yeast lees for 8 months to obtain a round style with body and mouthfeel. The 2018 vintage is discreet and restrained, unfolding elegantly on the nose to reveal stone fruit, sweet honey blossom and lime zest. The rich, luscious palate has a touch of wellintegrated oak, while a fresh acid backbone and delicate salinity lead to a mouth-watering mineral finish. Ageing potential: 5-6 years.
