Beautiful crisp fresh aromatic yellow stone fruits with white flowers, chalky mineral dusty notes and a long clean finish of aromatic pears and white peaches. Wonderfully fragrant and full bodied and fleshy in a way only Viognier can be. Acids are fresh and precise and frame the wine well. A great effort from Samuel Guibert. The Reserve de Gassac Blanc should not be served too cold. Decant it and witness how the primary pearfruit Viognier aromas melt into the wine to be replaced by an impression of warm butter, pollen and dried fruits. Roll the wine gently in your mouth and you will understand harmony.
Delicious by itself as an aperitif or with oysters, foie gras or any grilled fish. A truly unique experience!
