WSET Level 2 is a three-day course in our private board room at Beaumont and will be run from Tuesday 12th - 14th March 2024.
The course is being led by Roisin Kennedy of Liberty Wine School.
WSET Level 2 (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) is the internationally recognised course that is followed by those who would like to learn more about wine as well as those entering the wine and hospitality industry.
In a fun and informative way you will learn about tasting techniques to help you build tasting experience, pairing wine and food, still and sparkling wine production, most popular wine regions in the world and you will taste a broad selection of 54 wines over the 3 days. Level 2 can be comfortably achieved by those with little or no previous wine knowledge.
We will start every day at 9.45am. Each session will include a delicious lunch before resuming teaching for the afternoon. The course will finish each day by 4:30pm.
Roisin will cover the whole Level 2 syllabus but please note there will be additional revision exercises that you will be required to complete at home after each course day to make sure you are ready to sit the examination on the last day in the afternoon (a multiple choice paper of 50 questions).
The course cost covers WSET examination fees, WSET course materials, tuition, all the equipment and tasting samples you need as well as water. Course materials will be available for you to collect in advance and we recommend that you read them thoroughly before starting the course.
Cancellations are accepted up to two weeks prior to the start of the course, an administration fee of £20 will be deducted and the remainder of the course fee refunded to the payee. Cancellations after this will incur the full charge of the course. Places are not transferrable after the 2 week deadline. Cancellations will be refunded in full if made by Dunell’s or its affiliates or if course enrolments do not meet the minimum required numbers. Respectfully we advise our customers that Dunell’s can no longer accept COVID-19 as a valid reason for cancelling.
