Just above Lake Garda lies Italy’s northernmost wine region, Trentino-Alto Adige. The dry, gravelly soil and hot climate are ideal for growing white grape varietes which are fruity and often have a high level of acidity and balanced, light structure. Cantina Lavis is an historical winery founded in 1850s located at the heart of the Trentino subregion.

Nosiola is a delicious, unique white grape, native to Trentino. Pale yellow in colour with pastel green tints, this wine oozes floral suggestions of rose petals and jasmine. With a curious delicate note of hazelnut and stonefrut pallet, it is mellow and persistent, with just the right balance of acidity.

Great accompaniment with grilled vegetables and fish dishes or an asparagus and clams risotto.
