Description
Armagnac is one of the oldest spirits in France. Unlike Cognac, Armagnac is distilled at one time, followed by an aging of at least 3 to 10 years or much more for the vintage.
The Baron G. Legrand estate, in the Bas-Armagnac area, which is part of the Lhéraud (Cognac) house, has specialised in the production of vintage Armagnac wines and there are vintages up to 1802.
