Destinos Cruzados is the joint venture between Oscar Cidanes Domínguez and Marcial Dorado in Condado do Tea (the southern inland subzone of Rías Baixas). The property is located in the village of Arbo, only 1km away from Portugal. The "Casa Grande de Almuiña" has 6 hectares of vineyards which they select some specific plots for their wines, plus one old-vine plot of red varieties called "As Regadas".
The Pousada is selected their 6ha of estate vineyards grown organically over sandy granite soils. The blend is 75% Albariño & 25% Treixadura, hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Aging continues in French oak and stainless steel for 14 months. Expect white fruit, citrus and floral nose with balsamic hints and laurel touches.
