At Dunell’s, we’ve always believed that people are at the heart of everything we do, and nothing proves that more than the loyalty, passion, and dedication of our team.

This October, we’re marking a truly special milestone: four of our team members – Paulo, Maddie, Carol and Jane – are celebrating a combined 50 years of service. Among them, one colleague has proudly reached an incredible 21 years with us.

A Culture Built on Care

Milestones like these don’t happen by chance. They’re the result of a culture that values respect, teamwork, and wellbeing above all else. From day one, Dunell’s has placed people first, not just in how we serve our customers, but in how we support one another.

We believe that when people feel valued, they don’t just stay — they grow. Over the years, colleagues have become true friends, creating a warm, collaborative atmosphere that you can feel the moment you walk into our stores.

A Small Team with a Big Heart

Within our small team of just 16 people, we’ve collectively built up an astonishing 178 years of service. That’s an average of 11 years each, proof of the deep commitment and pride our people bring to work every day.

This level of dedication doesn’t just make Dunell’s a great place to work; it makes it a great place to visit. Our customers know they’re not just being served by staff, but by people who genuinely love what they do and care about sharing that passion for wine, spirits, and hospitality.

Our success as a company has never been just about bottles and brands, it’s about the people behind them. The dedication, knowledge, and warmth of our team are what make Dunell’s truly special.

So today, we raise a glass to Paulo, Jane, Carol and Maddie, and to every member of the Dunell’s family — past and present — who continues to make this such a special place to work, shop, and share in the love of wine.
