Burgundy 2024 - One of the most talked about releases of recent years

We are pleased to offer a selection of Burgundies from the 2024 vintage - one of the most talked about releases of recent years, defined by scarcity, freshness and classical precision.
After a challenging growing season marked by heavy rainfall, frost, and dramatically reduced yields, producers have nonetheless crafted beautifully expressive wines.
With quantities notably down across many key appellations, these wines will be in limited supply. Chablis was considered the worst-affected area overall due to a combination of spring frost, hail and severe mildew, with yields often dropping below 10 hl/ha, and some producers reported losses of up to 90%. For red wines, Vosne Romanée, Nuits Saint Georges, Chambolle Musigny, Vougeot and Gevrey Chambertin experienced severe losses due to relentless rain, creating "historic" mildew pressure as well as poor, uneven flowering, reducing potential yields.
The white Burgundies have striking freshness, vibrant fruit, and the kind of bright, mineral tension that lovers of classic styles will appreciate. Because of their clarity and balance, many 2024 whites will be enjoyable in their youth, showing lovely energy and brightness soon after release. Yet thanks to their underlying acidity and mineral structure, the better examples, especially from Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, have genuine medium-term cellaring potential. The reds of the 2024 vintage are generally a little lighter in style, elegant, refined and perfume-driven rather than dense or powerful. Across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, they show expressive red-fruit character, offering a delightful and approachable expression of Pinot Noir.
Our buyer, Kasia, has recently attended several pre-release tastings in London, carefully selecting her favourite domaines and cuvées to bring you a considered and exciting offer.
This is a chance to secure some of the most characterful wines of the vintage before they disappear.
