Champagne Bonnet Gilmert is a grower Champagne based in the Grand Cru village of Oger in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, just south of Avize. The family have been working in their vineyards for five generations and today the property is run by the charming Aude Vauban and her cousin Carla Bonnet. The domaine has seven hectares of entirely Chardonnay vines and their Grand Cru plots are situated in Oger, Avize and Mesnil sur Oger. They blend wines from all three villages for each of their cuvées to add depth and complexity.

The Extra Brut “L'Extra” is 100% Chardonnay, classified as Grand Cru. This cuvée comes from the famous and unique terroir of the “Côte des Blancs”. Aged 4 years minimum in our cellars and elaborated in Extra Brut, less than 6g of sugar / L. The low dosage of this wine brings a perfect balance and a beautiful freshness. With its delicacy, and its citrus aromas, this wine can be tasted with an incomparable pleasure at the time of the aperitif or accompanied by seafood.
