Description
Established in 1903, Champagne Fernand Lemaire is a fantastic producer from the southern flank of the Montagne de Reims. Now led by the fourth generation, Benoît and Hélène, the estate’s 7 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards are located in Hautvillers, the historic birthplace of Champagne Dom Pérignon.
100% Hautvillers 1er Cru, clay-limestone soil - 34% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir. 33% Pinot Meunier. Aged for 36 months on lees, 8g/l dosage.
A beautiful light gold colour with a fine effervescence. A very subtle nose with notes of ripe white peach. Very harmonious on the palate with a round, long finish. Ideal as an aperitif, or to accompany a fish or white meat course.
London Tasting Awards 2025 - Gold.
