Description

Nyetimber Vineyard pioneered the UK's recent rise to fame and recognition for its ability to be taken seriously at international level. The estate was conceived, planted and equipped exclusively for the production of top-quality sparkling wines. Just over fourteen hectares (thirty-five acres) of gentle, south-facing slopes of greensand soil were planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the classic varieties of the Champagne region.

Light golden hues and a slight silver undertone illuminate this delicately effervescent wine. Aromas of pure lemon, mineral, honey and a hint of tangerine fill the nose. The palate has a lively, sweet lemon start offset by a crisp acidity and a very clean, pure structure.

One of our most versatile sparkling wines, our Cuvee Chérie Multi-Vintage works with an array of dishes, from classic English desserts such as strawberries and cream to aromatic cuisines of Japan, China and Thailand.
