This exquisite spirit begins with a richly botanical take on a classic London Dry, which is then expertly blended with wild-foraged sloe berries from Burgundy, as well as a smooth French blackcurrant liqueur and an Italian cherry liqueur, all rounded off with a touch of sugar. The final touch involves resting in seasoned ex-whiskey barrels at the renowned Portobello Road distillery in London.
What emerges is a gin with a confident, “ginny” profile, complemented by complex layers of stone fruit. It carries a gentle sweetness and a subtle hint of oaky maturity from the barrel-aging process. Whether enjoyed over ice, stirred into a cocktail, or straight from the hip flask, this gin promises a memorable experience with every sip.

Located on the upper two floors of a 19th-century public house along London's iconic Portobello Road, The Ginstitute serves as the city's second-smallest museum, featuring our 30L alembic still, known as Copernicus the Second.
As Ged, Jake, and Paul were assembling The Ginstitute, they realised that to offer a complete experience, it was essential to create a gin that could proudly call this place home. Distilled in England from English-grown wheat, our base spirit embodies local heritage. We use nine botanical ingredients from around the world, such as juniper berries and orris from Tuscany, lemon peels from Spain, bitter orange peels sourced from Haiti or Morocco, nutmeg from Indonesia, and cassia bark from Southeast Asia.
