Bumbu The Original is a craft rum from Panama that dates back to the 16th and 17th century sailors of the West Indies. Distilled using sugarcane from eight different countries, it pours a rich, deep amber colour with golden highlights.
The nose is immediately captivating, offering complex aromas of Madagascar vanilla, soft caramel and toasted oak. On the palate, it delivers a remarkably smooth experience with layers of roasted nuts, cinnamon, and allspice notes that dance across the tongue.
Sweetness from native Caribbean fruits and spices creates a distinctively lush mouthfeel. The finish is long, mild and dangerously sippable, leaving lingering hints of mild toffee and banana. This is a premium spirit meant to be savoured neat or over ice.
