This is a limited release añejo tequila bottled for the 20th anniversary of the Don Fulano brand. It is aged in oloroso and amontillado sherry casks and bottled at a higher ABV of 44.4% to bring out the complexities and textures of this incredible product. The extended ageing along with the Fonseca’s policy of maturing their agaves for 10 years in the iron-rich soils of the highlands give this tequila remarkable depth, expressiveness, and finesse.

Don Fulano 20th Anniversary Añejo is an incredibly rich and complex tequila with notes of cooked agave, dried raisins, and figs, along with butterscotch and salted caramel. On the palate there is cinnamon spice, eucalyptus and green pepper, finishing with almond, vanilla, and sultanas.

Matured in oloroso and amontillado sherry casks for a minimum of two years, this release is one of the finest añejo tequilas on the market. The Fonsecas are among the few tequila producers to grow their own agaves, with each agave field bringing unique characteristics to the spirit and creating subtle variation between batches – three of which were combined for this exceptional 20th anniversary bottling.

Don Fulano is crafted by the Fonseca family, who are fifth-generation agave farmers in the Highlands of Jalisco. Industry legends Enrique Fonseca and Sergio Mendoza lead production, which takes place at the renowned La Tequilena distillery.
