This bottling exemplifies the Fonsecas’ tequila-making expertise, balancing the terroir of the Highlands with the layered complexities of flavour that develop through maturation. The oldest expression in the Don Fulano range, it showcases all the richness and nuances of a finely aged agave spirit – elegant, powerful, rich, dark, and fruity with long-aged flavours of coffee and raisins accompanied by big oak and agave spice – cinnamon, clove and soft nutmeg. Opulent, with fruity dark chocolate, sticky maraschino cherries and spicy leathery notes to start. Behind that initial hit are softer vanilla notes and sweet nuts.
