This LBV has very lively, complex aromas with a mature, black plum, spicy, herbal finish. It has good concentration without being too full bodied and fresh tannins giving the port length and depth. Thanks to the year and good acidities, two opposing flavours of maturity and concentration are well integrated with freshness and equilibrium. The LBV is similar in style to other La Rosa ports – well defined, a good structure, and mature tannins with soft wood undertones. La Rosa ports are always slightly drier than most, and the brandy is always well integrated.

This Port has not been filtered and might throw a light sediment but should not require decanting. Delicious with dessert, especially chocolate, cheese or on its own. Sustainable agriculture used.
