Description

Jean-Louis Chavy and his son Paul, who joined the domaine this year, continue to vinify an increasing proportion of their wines in 350 litre demi-muids from Meursault-based tonnellerie Damy giving a lighter touch of oak and keeping the wines fresher and more elegant. This is a splendid source of ripe, fruity Puligny, delicious relatively early but with the balance to age well in the medium term.

From vines in Puligny-Montrachet (90%) and Meursault (10%) that lie at the bottom of the slope. Vinified in 228 litre and 350 litre barrels, of which 5% are new. Fresh and fruity with a lovely, open texture, this will be delicious to drink upon release.
