From: The Magic of 2022 Rosso di Montalcino (Sep 2024)
Aromatically intense, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino holds nothing back. It's vividly fruit forward yet with a burst of wild herbs and exotic spice to balance. This is harmonious and pure on the palate, with ample energy and verve as a cascade of crisp wild berry fruits swirl throughout. Only gently tannic yet full of youthful tension, the 2022 finishes fresh yet potent. - By Eric Guido on July 2024

Now a certified organic wine, the Argiano 2022 Rosso di Montalcino opens to a playful blast of raspberry tart and perfumed wild strawberry that gives this fruit-forward red a touch of sweetness and a touch of sourness. However, the sweet and fruity side of the wine takes center stage, especially on the nose, giving this wine a one-dimensional and immediate profile. Fresh acidity adds to a zesty and mildly tannic finish. This is a 60,000-bottle release.
