Description
From a single organic vineyard in Tubilla del Lago, established over 100 years ago at +900m, and another vineyard in Gumiel del Mercado at 930m, both featuring clay/calcareous soils and managed using biodynamic methods, this wine is 100% Tinto Fino. The juice is left on the skins for approximately 12 days, and following natural fermentation, it ages for 14 months in a 2300-litre French oak cask, with further refinement in concrete tanks.
Around 16,400 bottles are produced.
It presents a deep ruby-violet colour with purple tinges, showcasing aromas and flavours of black fruits such as blackberry, cherry, and wild raspberry, along with floral notes of cloves, tobacco, leather, and vanilla. This full-bodied wine pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted beef and lamb, grilled vegetable dishes, and mature cheeses.
