A subtle bouquet of white flowers on the nose with a bit of coxing. On the palate, the wine shows enormous depth, with a mouthfilling texture that remains quite tight. Will need a little patience but expect this to be spectacular with a few years bottle age.

The 2020 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a detailed nose with citrus fruit and flint aromas unfolding in the glass. This has a "steady" feel to it, aromatics that don’t wish to create too much of a fuss. The palate is balanced with good weight, fine acidity, quite saline but like other Perrieres, it is missing a bit of tension and mineralité on the finish. - Neal Martin
