Description
In 2005, the Gelin family purchased three parcels of vines totalling 6 hectares in Fleurie. Planted on southeast-facing slopes, the vines have an average age of 45 years and give a gloriously rich, generous wine. 50% of the bunches are destemmed and the wine is vividly fruity with a wonderful mixture of red and black fruits. Ripe tannins give structure and the finish is long and sweet. Delicious already but will age gracefully over the next five years.
