Domaine Henri Rebourseau is a notable winery located in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, specifically in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. Founded in the early 20th century, the domaine has established a reputation for producing elegant and high-quality wines, primarily from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.

The estate encompasses approximately 15 hectares of vineyards, with holdings that include several prestigious appellations, such as Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, and more. Domaine Henri Rebourseau is committed to sustainable viticulture and practices minimal intervention in the winemaking process, focusing on expressing the terroir’s true character.

The wines from Domaine Henri Rebourseau are characterised by their finesse, complexity, and balance, typically featuring rich fruit flavours, floral notes, and well-integrated tannins. With careful attention to detail in both vineyard management and winemaking, the estate produces wines that are well-received by critics and wine enthusiasts.

By maintaining a tradition of quality and craftsmanship, Domaine Henri Rebourseau continues to be a respected name in Burgundy, offering beautifully crafted wines that embody the elegance and distinctiveness of the region.

Stretching south of Gevrey-Chambertin, the Corvée is located on a relatively flat and rich area that covers 2.35 ha with older vines that are on average 54 years old.

The wine has garnet colour with a dark carmine tint, sometimes black cherry. Pronounced aromas of red fruits evoking cherry notes.

INSIDE BURGUNDY - Jasper Morris - "A blend of many lots, Pressonnier, Sylvie, the plot in front of the domaine, Champs Chenys. Mid crimson purple. A discreet bouquet with little red fruits, probably more of a strawberry tendency. Quite graceful, a little warmth behind. Some fine tannins. Medium length. Racked to tank." Drink 2028-2032.

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a blend of five lieux-dits picked at the end of the harvest on September 22nd. This was tasted from two glasses, the traditional Burgundy glass is far superior. The nose offers finely delineated red cherry and crushed strawberry notes. The palate is clean and pure, framed by fine tannins, with the 35% new oak just rounding out the finish.
