Esprit de Pavie 2019 offers a blend of Merlot (65% of which 20% comes from Chateau Pavie vineyard in Saint-Emilion), Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, reflecting the terroir of its Bordeaux roots. 80% of the grapes come from Ch. Pavie own vineyards in Cotes de Castillon.
The wine presents an opaque, deep ruby color, indicating a concentrated flavor profile. Aromas of black cherry, plum, and subtle hints of tobacco greet the nose. On the palate, it showcases a medium body with firm tannins, a lively backbone with layers of dark fruit lingering alongside sweet tobacco, touches of spice cake and potpourri. Best to drink in the next few years.
