Glass-staining violet. Displays expansive aromas of blackberry and boysenberry, with exotic spice, candied violet and incense notes building in the glass. Sappy and energetic on the palate, offering densely packed, mineral-tinged black and blue fruit and cherry liqueur flavors and a peppery nuance that adds back-end spiciness. The floral notes comes back strong on an extremely long, focused and vibrant finish that features harmonious tannins and lingering mineral and spice flourishes. - Josh Raynolds (2020)
