The Pillot family have been making wine in Mercurey for 150 years. Today Laurent, together with his son Romain who joined in 2018, are the 5th and 6th generations to run the 17 hectare family domaine.
The Mercurey Rouge has been matured in one to six year old barrels to gain balance and roundness. This is a lovely example of Mercurey with delicious, red fruits and spice on the nose, carefully extracted tannins and a beguiling, fresh aftertaste. Drink 2026-2029.
