Description
Guillaume Camus of Domaine Camus-Bruchon is considered one of the finest red wine producers in the Côte de Beaune region. The winery is located in the village of Savigny-les-Beaune, just north of Beaune. They produce well-balanced, deep and complex wines that represent the essence of great Burgundy. The family owns some of the top vineyards in Savigny-les-Beaune, including several premier crus and a few top village wine parcels planted with very old pinot noir vines. They also have a bit of premier cru in Beaune and Pommard.
This vintage has a generous and concentrated nose of cassis, wild berries, and sweet spice. The rich and complex profile is layered with notes of dark cherry and black currant, framed with ripe tannins that give a lingering mouthfeel.
