Starting with a rather clipped nose, the 2019 Cabernet Franc has none of the herbal notes that Cabernet Franc is known for. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is juicy and red-fruited with firm tannins before ending with a spicy finish. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 29% new. Just over 14,000 bottles were produced.
