Description

Born from a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from different areas of the Barbaresco area. A label of great complexity and longevity. All the vineyards are family-owned, located in suitable areas on sun-kissed hillsides with a temperate microclimate that gives the fruit the ideal characteristics to create a wine of great structure and refinement.

The Pio Cesare Barbaresco presents itself visually with a hue reminiscent of ruby red, within which some garnet reflections stand out. The olfactory spectrum is complex and layered, with notes that veer from berries towards nuances of sweet spices. On the palate it is rich-bodied, round, with an energetic structure and a sip with considerable tannic grip. It finishes with a persistent finish, characterised by a balsamic aftertaste.
