Description
Ridge Vineyards' Three Valleys 2022 from Sonoma County is a wonderfully expressive and approachable red blend. Pouring a deep ruby, its inviting aroma immediately offers ripe black cherry, raspberry, and a generous sprinkle of baking spice, with a subtle earthy undertone.
The palate delivers a beautifully balanced and fruit-driven experience. Juicy dark berries and plums mingle with notes of vanilla and a hint of white pepper, all supported by smooth, well-integrated tannins. Its medium to full body provides a satisfying mouthfeel without being overly heavy, making it highly versatile.
The finish is long, clean, and pleasantly warm, leaving a lingering impression of dark fruit and spice. This is a consistently excellent wine, showcasing Ridge's expertise in crafting a harmonious and immensely drinkable Californian blend.

A blend of 65% Zinfandel, 16% Carignane and 14% Petite Sirah, the 2022 Three Valleys is super-welcoming and disarming from the get-go. A superb introduction to the Ridge house style, it balances the savory and the fruity—tobacco, cedar, dark berry fruit and loads of spice, all hemmed in by fresh acidity and insistent but yielding tannins. It’s hard to go wrong here.
