Description
Brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol are pioneers in biodynamic viticulture, having transformed their 13-hectare domaine over 20 years ago.
The 2023 vintage stands out as one of their most successful yet, thanks to meticulous vineyard management, including two summer green harvests that ensured optimal grape quality. With about 50% of the bunches destemmed, the extraction was gentle, involving only a light pressing of the skins. Aged in fine 228-litre barrels from tonnelleries Rousseau and Chassin, this exquisite wine is sourced from a selection of their oldest vines, ranging from 50 to 90 years old, spread across nine plots within the appellation. It is rich and generous, showcasing vibrant red cherry and blackcurrant fruit, accented by a touch of toasty oak and a luscious, succulent finish.
This exceptional wine is poised for enjoyment from 2027 to 2032, promising to evolve beautifully over time.
