This Rosé from Domaine Fredavelle is pure Provence in a glass—bright, fresh, and bursting with notes of ripe strawberry, watermelon, and citrus. Its crisp acidity and light, lively texture make it incredibly approachable and perfect for sunny days. Subtle floral and mineral hints add complexity, while the balanced finish invites you to enjoy every sip. An ideal, easy-drinking choice that captures the vibrant essence of Coteaux d'Aix.
*****
Domaine Fredavelle is a family run vineyard managed by business partners David Ravel and Olivia Menigoz. Located in the heart of Provence in Southern France, the vineyards span 23 hectares in the famous AOP area of Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence in the small village of Eguilles. The climate is Mediterranean with long, dry summers and a mistral wind that blows down the Rhône. The name Fredavelle is the name of the land where David built the first structure for vinification. David and Olivia’s vision is to restructure the vineyards—replace very old vines, plant new grape varieties, increase production area and invest in upgrading production equipment to conform to organic practices. Already HVE certified, the winery underwent a conversion to organic farming that was fully realised in 2022 with the introduction of their 2021 vintage wines.
